Subject: Server error: Memory allocation request exceeded 65,000 bytes
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Domino Server
Technical Area: Error Message
Platform: Linux server - SLED 10
Release: 8.0.1
Reproducible: Intermittent
I recently started seeing this error when opening in a client some documents from a 14GB database with around 50000 documents. (ODS48, compression of design and compression of documents and LZ1 attachment compression enabled, folderreferences enabled).
I deleted full text index. I run updall but that did not rectify it. I then tried to do a fixup which deleted the documents. I run load fixup dbname -L -F -C which should only have reported any errors. It found some documents with invalid structure but then it deleted them (which is of course a problem for us).
I got the error first when I was regularly saving a document. The next time I got it by performing a fulltext search (programatically and putting the search results into a private forlder) and then trying to open the documents. I tried to open around three documents (out of around 100) from this search and they all produced this error.
When accessing this document programmatically (via UNID), lotusscript notesdatabase.getdocumentbyunid finds it but it does not load any values.
Has anyone seen this error and what does it mean? Deleting documents is not an option (and there have been many deleted).
Thank you.
